What's all the confusion about!
At the start of this semester, ASU did away with the 2 ID number system used in previous years. The system was made up of a 9 digit number which was called the ASU ID number, and a 10 digit number which was called the ASU Affiliate number. This system was used for several years and was meant to help transition ASU into the system it is currently using. At this point, ASU is now referring to the 10 digit number on your Sun card as your ID number. If you are in posession of that 10 digit number, but no longer have access to the older 9 digit legacy number, click the link below that states "click here if you do not know your old (legacy) ASU ID number". You should also try using the last 4 digits of your SS# as that is apperently working for a small percentage of students.
All Herberger College of Fine Arts courses require students to use a student course account. The account will allow you to access all or parts of your course materials online, depending on the requirements of the course (exams, discussion board, grade checker, etc...)
Your course syllabus might state that you need to create a course account, however, an account has already been created for you so you need only remember the formula below, or refer to this page should you forget your course account. The formula for your course account and password is as follows:
Click here if you don't know your ASURITE user name.
click here if you do not know your old (legacy) ASU ID number.
Once at this site, click on the link Social Security Number Verification under te Academic Record Information menu in the Current Students section. Enter your login information on the following page. This will display your SSN and your ASU ID number.
Please see the picture below if you are not sure which number is your ASU ID number.
If Sparky Sun Devil's ASURITE is sdevil, and the last four digits of his ASU ID number are 6789, then he would use the following to log onto the course web site and/or exams, assignments, or the course grade checker:
IF YOU ARE still unable to login to the course Contact HerbergerOnline Technical Support. Instructors do not handle login or technical issues.
